Take I-84 E from Portland to exit 109.  Turn left onto John Day Dam Rd, then follow the road as it makes a right turn. Drive .28 miles, the boat ramp will be on your left.  Note that there are 2 boat ramps here, one of them is for the Native Americans and one for the public. There are restrooms in the first parking lot in the North-East corner, near the railroad tracks.

The boat dock is very short, and boats typically float nearby until their groups are ready to board. You should have the phone number of the person on the boat so you can let them know you are on the dock and ready to board. It may be dark when you board your boat, so be careful, and make sure it is the right boat!

Coming from Hwy 101, go north until you cross the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, Iraq Veterans Memorial Hwy. Also known as the Youngs Bay Bridge.  Follow the roundabout and take the 2nd exit which puts you on W.
